Unseasonably cold weather didn’t stop Erickson staff from participating in this year’s Veterans Day bridge tour. The annual event gives engineers and technicians an additional opportunity to see their work come to fruition. Many Erickson staff regularly work in the field on construction inspections, surveys, preliminary design site visits, etc. This tour gives all staff a chance to visit and study not only bridges they’ve worked on but also those of their colleagues. It also serves to further their understanding of how site conditions affect bridge design and how what they do on a screen translates into real life.

Let’s hope the weather for next year’s tour is a bit warmer!
