Bridge 10550 is located in the City Watertown and crosses over the South Fork Crow River. The bridge is a 3-span prestressed concrete beam structure with a total length of 168 ft. The bridge deck is 65 ft wide and includes two lanes of traffic, center turn lane, raised center median, and concrete sidewalks on each side of the bridge. The bridge includes concrete railing with ornamental metal railing and lighting. Due to the high traffic volume, the bridge was designed to be built in two phases while maintaining traffic on the bridge during construction. Design also included preparation of a Feasibility Study detailing rehabilitation versus replacement options due to historic significance of the old bridge.
