Erickson Engineering, one of the leading bridge design firms in Minnesota, is seeking a bridge engineer for design of vehicular and pedestrian bridges.  Erickson Engineering designs bridges throughout Minnesota and surrounding states.

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Design of bridge superstructures and substructures
• Checking design by other engineers
• Construction plan QC review
• Preparing construction specifications and cost estimates

We are looking for a self-starting individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.   In addition to Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency, preferred requirements include:

• MathCAD, RISA3D, AASHTOWare BrR, and AutoCAD proficiency
• Experience with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber
• Prefabricated steel truss experience
• 1-2 yrs bridge/structural design experience
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
