Dick Hansen, longtime St. Louis County Engineer, passed away May 1, 2017. Dick worked for Erickson Engineering on a part-time basis from 2002 to 2012, after retiring from St. Louis County. Located on Rice Street in the City of Jordan, Bridge 70551 crosses over Sand Creek and consists of a 110 ft long, 3-span prestressed concrete beam structure. Kittson County Bridge 35537 has been selected as a winner of the 2013 AGC-MnDOT Bridge Awards, in the Small Bridge category. The bridge was designed by Erickson Engineering and built by Swingen Construction. Erickson Engineering’s services included hydraulics, preliminary and final bridge design, permit applications, and soils testing coordination. Congratulations to all involved in the project.
